- The computer fills in the square, and then you retracc the path by clicking
- on the squares in order. The scoring is explained in "Scores" from the main
- menu. 640X400 and 800X600 resolution are supported.

- Installation: Copy the files here to an empty subdirectory on your
- hard drive. Windows 3.1 etc: Open a program group, select File/New and
- browse to Xtrace.exe. Click OK, Change Icon Ok, OK. For Windows 95: Right
- click on the Start Button and open a folder. Click File/New/Shortcut, and
- browse to find Xtrace.exe. Click Ok, Next, Finished.
- Xtrace tests your short term memory.
- 1. To start a new game, click on new game. Click stop at any time
- 2. Then Click on Retrace button at the bottom of the screen, and click on each
- square in the same order the computer lit them. Click Stop at any time.
- Sometimes to get to New Game, you have to click the Stop button to reset.
